What are the Days of Action:
Days of Action (DOA) are part of an initiative started by the Community Social Work Team on Campus in 2013. The work now continues under the Wellness Supports Team. The purpose of DOA is to bring awareness to issues such as mental health, suicide, loneliness
and isolation, stigmatization and exclusion, and poverty by joining the global community in observing designated awareness days for campus members.
What is the Days of Action Committee:
The Committee is made up of different campus services, faculty, student groups and other stakeholders, all working in partnership to create events and activities for the 5 designated Days of Action.
Student Group Involvement:
As important members of the campus community, we want to partner with student groups, to engage and support the most students on campus! If your group has plans already for these days or has ideas, we want to support you through them! After filling out this
form, someone from Student Group Services will get in touch to chat about how this collaborative relationship will work.
